In the village of Algoso, in the municipality of Vimioso - Bragança district, you'll find this fantastic house typical of a Trás-os-Montes village, all clad in schist stone.
Built from scratch in 2006, it has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a garage with an electric gate, a utility room, a laundry room and an excellent roof terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Algoso - an old town in Trás-os-Montes, it was the seat of the municipality until 1855, when it was abolished and incorporated into the municipality of Vimioso. At the southern end of the town stands the castle, built by Mendo Rufino at the end of the 12th century, possibly during the reign of King Afonso Henriques, and is now a must-see on the Castle Route.
There is no other castle like it and there are few similarities with other rocky castles.
