Fragoso is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Barcelos. Its heritage encompasses the Parish Church of S. Pedro, Cruzeiro Velho, the Chapels, Santa Luzia in Guilhufe and Senhora da Conceição, in Gandra and the Bridge, currently pedestrian, over the Neiva River.
The view extends to Monte de S. Gonçalo, a medieval path, followed by the pilgrims of S. Tiago who were heading to Compostela and to the Cascata de São Vicente which is found between the Hermitage of S. Vicente and the path that leads to Fonte da Virtude, perhaps one of the most beautiful in Vale do Neiva, by Ribeiro de S. Vicente and Rio Neiva with its river beaches.
Among several festivities, it is known for the Festival in honor of Nossa Senhora do Livramento, one of the biggest pilgrimages in Minho and considered the second largest in Barcelos, the Festa de São João and the Kresto Rock Festival, a festival with lots of music rock and DJs, dancing, free camping, swimming pool and everything else that a music festival offers to everyone who lives there and to those who are passing through.
