House T2 in Sesimbra (Castelo) of 86 m²
About this house/villa of 2 bedrooms at Sesimbra (Castelo), Sesimbra (Castelo)
EXCLUSIVE IAD !
I am pleased to present this traditional country house in the heart of Serra de Azoia, surrounded by the majestic beaches and viewpoints of Azoia and the Cabo Espichel, one of the most serene, peaceful and rugged areas of the peninsula.
This charming villa is generous in its layout and distribution.
In need of a little tender loving care, it boasts very low property taxes at roughly 150 euros per year, 5 newly installed solar panels with a contract to resell the extra electricity produced, recently insulated and treated roof and external humidity insulating paint over the entire house. The energy certificate is good: a C, close to B-.
The ground floor features a huge living room dining room with built in bar and beautiful wood burning fireplace. French doors open to a full size eat-in kitchen bathed in natural light. Included in this large space are a clothes washer, dish washer, built-in oven and microwave and a new Hob installed in 2022. The hot water on demand is one more feature located conveniently in this room. This level is completed with a bedroom, a shower room and a wine cellar with space for over 100 bottles.
Up the stairs to the 1st floor we find a lovely sitting room complete with a second wood burning fireplace. Two more bedrooms with built in closets as well as a lovely bathroom with upgraded shower enclosure finish the space on this floor, but there is more.
Upstairs into the attic area we find a full guest suite with sitting room, large bedroom and a bathroom with tub for those relaxing soaks. This is a great place for family or visitors.
The outside of this property is as well appointed as the interior. A huge deck on the north side leads down to a sculpted back yard garden area with private cistern and over 5 types of mature fruit trees plus producing grape vines. In front of the house are lemons, lowquats, oranges and a couple of vines while along the side are a couple of apple and orange trees. At the back are a pear tree, an apple tree, vines, marmellows, apricots, and clementines. An old goat pens provide a great storage area for all of the garden tools. The deck is absolutely the best place to relax with the setting sun and a cocktail.
Around the corner a small and strategically placed BBQ area will be a highlight of evenings spent with family dining al fresco. Lots of space for food prep and even running water for the clean up!
The door to your private 2 car garage is also found just off of the cooking area. Down a set of steps surrounded by flowers and trees and you are back down to the marble courtyard, a great place to relax under the grape vine pergola and contemplate all of the fantastic features of this beautiful villa. Truly a must see.
Cabo Espichel is 5km away while Sesimbra village and its wonderful beach, restaurants and cafes is a mere 11km away. Driving through Zambujal on the way to Sesimbra are all sorts of small local restaurants: you almost get a feeling of being out of time. No high rises here, no urban noise, just the peace and quiet of a traditional Portuguese village in the middle of nature. One of the house’s strong points is definitely the uninterrupted view and possibly the 3 or 4 friendly goats who reside nearby.
