Old Thermal Hotel built in 1915 located near the historic village of Sortelha with approximately 112 hectares of land, in the municipality of Sabugal, it was known for its waters with therapeutic effects that spring from a spring located in the land.
For this tourist resort, there is a project aimed at the recovery and expansion of the existing granite building, converting it into a 5-star hotel, in the construction of a golf course with 18 holes and two tourist villages totaling 146 tourist villages. On the road that connects Terreiro das Witches to Caria, near the Casteleiro we see in the distance a granite castle in the middle of a barren slope of Serra da Pena.
To access the old baths we have to do a short walk and we easily realize that we are facing buildings that could be grand, the stonework was worked out in detail.
